Lauren Brown
Executive Director
Lauren Brown joined Desert View as our Director in 2023, but she first experienced Desert View Learning Center as a parent in 2017. Lauren has her Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University and her Masters in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Lauren has worked in education both in Arizona and New York. With almost 20 years in the field, she has worked in both private and public educational settings. She came to Desert View from another Independent School in Arizona, New Way Academy where she served as the Director of Student Support Services as part of the leadership team from 2014-2023. Lauren is a nationally certified School Psychologist and had a background in School Psychology before she moved into Educational Leadership. She has experience training graduate students, educators, and individuals in the education and behavioral health fields. Mom to three (all either current or alumni Desert View students) and DVLC enthusiast, she is usually the first smiling face you'll see on campus.
